E-REAL GAMES GROUNDBREAKING G1 LIGHT GUN BREEDS NEW LIFE INTO SHOOTING GAME MARKET
eReal Games Inc. receives fantastic feedback for its release of the G1 Light Gun, the world’s only light gun compatible with any TV.

Gamers from all over the globe have been sending in positive comments since the release of the G1 Light Gun. For the first time ever you don’t have to be worried about refresh rate, whether your TV is a Plasma, Projection or even a 100Hz CRT it doesn’t matter, the G1 works with them all. Initial sceptics of the company’s claims have been banished as the G1’s next generation tracking technology, RGT is set to re-revitalise the shooting game genre.

‘Our customers have been delighted with the G1, they can now play their favourite titles like Time Crisis and House of the Dead on big TV’s and projection systems, just like their massively successful arcade counterparts.’ says Jonathan Jaffa, Managing Director of eReal Games Europe.

For the past few years traditional light gun manufacturers have struggled to keep from disappointing their customers. With so called promises that ‘their’ light guns work with the various adaptations of 100Hz televisions. But with the shear variety of TV tubes and configurations as well as the huge increase in Plasma and Projection TV’s, current light gun sales have suffered from high return rates as customers find out they don’t work on all systems.

The G1 takes a whole new approach and without the need for a ‘flash’ signal to be sent from the TV screen. The G1 uses it’s patented tracking camera which locates the movement of the light gun down to the millimetre. So for the first time customers can be 100% confident with it’s compatibility. It’s significance can not be underestimated since success in the competitive accessories market relies heavily on low return rates and customer satisfaction.

The G1 is being analysed by the biggest names in the business as more requests are made to license RGT core technology for implementation in own brand guns. Developers are also set to capitalise on this breakthrough as they see the opportunity of porting existing arcade titles to the home console market.

Another major benefit of the new technology is that shooting game developers can at last remove the annoying and potentially seizure inducing white flash that appears every time you pull the trigger. A characteristic required for traditional light guns but not for the G1.

There has also been a massive response from the PC community pleading for the production of a PC version of the G1. There are over 50 light gun games titles for the PC most of which have been arcade classics in the past.

‘We have had incredible support from PC gamers who are encouraging us to use our next generation technology in a PC version. We have since set aside specific development resources to create such a version with E3 as a target to show a prototype. eReal Games is a customer focused company which listens carefully to requests and comments. We are dedicated to produce high quality products through innovation and have the skills and resources in place to push boundaries to create the best gaming experience possible.’ says Mr Jaffa.

eReal Games is now focused on selecting the best distributors from across the globe to achieve maximum exposure for it’s exclusive product. They have already secured the largest electronics retailer in the US and are confident in closing deals with other major chain stores over the coming months.
